About Max Life Foods
Max Life Foods is a reseller of Wise Company which is itself a reseller of several other original manufacturers. It looks like this site might be what we call an “internet play” which is when a company sets up another company with the same product but with different marketing. This is the same issue with MyFoodStorage.com which used to simply resell Wise Company food storage.
The interesting thing is these resellers often offer prices that are a bit less for the same products you would get at the mother company. We’ve been assured by a Wise Company representative that Max Life Foods is “in no way owned by or controlled by Wise Company or any of its principals, officers or employees.” Since Max Life Foods is a reseller of Wise Company, here is the Wise Company review:
Wise Food Storage is a quality reseller that stresses customer service and simplicity. At first, it may be hard to distinguish Wise Company Food Storage from other brands such as Daily Bread or Food Insurance. That’s because Wise Company uses many of the same successful advertising and marketing tactics such as getting conservative talk radio endorsements.
Wise Company does a lot of things to make up for the marketing-generated perception gap. This includes packaging their food in mylar pouches stored in buckets rather than in #10 cans. This makes it easier to store and eliminates the need to hurry and use up the food once you crack open a #10 can. Wise Company also uses a best of breed approach. Certain ingredients set up and taste better when freeze-dried (vegetables, fruits, meats) while others do better through dehydration. In these cases, dehydrated ingredients offer all the benefits and better value than foods that have been freeze-dried.
Our Opinion
Wise Company Food Storage has quickly become a major player in the industry. Whether you choose to to go with Wise Company, Max Life Foods, or purchase from Food Storage Reviewer, we think you will be happy with the quality and service you get from Wise. But its always a good idea to check all sites to make sure you are getting the best price.

2 Stars – Here is why: 1. shipping was SLOW and communication limited – 2. i did not get what I ordered. I ordered 1 – 222 count of a veggie (correct), 1 – 120 servings of meat (incorrect) and 1 – 150 freeze dried fruit (incorrect). They sent me 2 meats and no fruit and 1 veggie. I am so over trying to communicate with the company that I am just moving on. It is less expensive than other companies, but what a mess trying to communicate about the order.

The very poor review is solely on their customer service and shipping. Over a month behind on sending me the product. No offer of a reduction in cost after this debacle. No commitment to a delivery date. All you hear is I’m pushing the warehouse. No phone calls and a sparse email at best. I had to order from a competitor and paid well over a 100.00 more to get the product when I needed it. Terrible way for an organization to do business. In my work if I don’t meet deadlines it cost me money. But they get the money upfront and hold you out to dry. It should be advertised “shipped at our convenience” customer 2nd.

Purchased $2500. worth of “black line” online without ever being advised that it was in fact “wise food”. I would have contacted “wise” if I wanted inferior quality product. They refused to respond to BBB complaint phone # BOGUS!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MAX LIFE FOOD S !!!!!!!! They do not do what they say they will do . Your product will not ship on time and it definitely won’t show up on time . If you want your order plan on calling several times and being told something different each time. When your order FINALLY SHOWS UP it will not have everything you were promised ( go figure ) Then after you contact them several dozen times to get the rest of your product ( being promised it would ship right out ) you still will not have your order agreement. They just keep on lying over and over , I feel they just ripped me off , and I can’t see ever getting the rest of my product . This is not someone you want to do business with , word to the wise , look else where for your survival supplies

James,
Thanks for sharing this with our users. It’s frustrating to have such a difficult experience.

I didn’t wait until the Ebola scare or some other catastrophe to order, so the product arrived very quickly. Definitely less expensive. Get the Deluxe line. Black line is just reselling Wise Foods and is also more expensive because of fancier menu items like lasagna.

Was told 7-10 days. Received package 2 of 2 on day 11 but not 1 of 2 . I still don’t have it! They told me it’s always like that; if part of a shipment is ready they ship it which makes the customers concerned and they have to call to find out WTF? Don’t ship partial shipments, and don’t advertise a time frame you can’t handle. Going elsewhere in the future!Lost thousands in potential business in this case. All these reviews should tell you something!
