As Sandy Rages, Reminders of Katrina Spark Fear

Nobody wants a repeat of what happened in New Orleans back in 2005. That was a perfect combination of a massive storm, a vulnerable metro area, and an under-prepared population. Luckily, with Sandy, people have taken better precautions to mitigate the disaster to some degree. Still, the following pictures are reminders that natural disasters can strike anywhere, anytime. It’s best to get prepared with food, a water filter, and power/heat supplies.
